Uganda 2010
Two teams travel in 2010. Team one will be an intergenerational team; team two will be an interdisciplinary team. Fact sheet, application forms and FAQs are available at the bottom of this page. Watch for information on a January 2010 information meeting coming soon. Please note that all applications must be received no later than Janurary 18, 2010.
Uganda 2009
A two-pronged trip! Medical personnel and volunteers will work at Sanyu Orphanage helping the volunteers and babies there while teachers will give professional support and developmental opportunities to their Ugandan counterparts at the Eva Ruf resource centre. Traveling Teachers and Volunteers
A team travels in July, 2008. Excitement is building as teachers and volunteers from British Columbia and Alberta apply to experience Uganda and support education in tangible and hand-on ways. We will ALL be changed by the beauty and joy of Africa!
Kelowna's Global Citizen week in Action
March 1-2 represents an army of volunteers coming together to receive, inventory, box, and load a shipping container worth of donations for Ugandan children.
Tree of Kindness 2007
Boxes and boxes of new children's books for African children have been collected and are being loaded and sent to Uganda this month. A big "thank you" to the Kelowna community for giving the gift of literacy!
